Hi! I am Sandy Harrison, a fellow Mint Hill resident and business owner as a professional portrait artist for over 30 years. I found myself, like others, anxious, scared, and depressed as I witnessed my portrait business diminish because of Covid. As an aromatherapist for over seven years, I knew the benefits and effects of aromatics, herbs, and essential oils and what they can offer to the body and mind. Changing focus on what is important to me, I am determined and committed to self-care while helping others in their journey as well.
Through this column, I am excited to introduce and educate the fundamentals of essential oils and herbs for a more naturopathic daily option for health and wellness.
Wellness is more than being free from illness. It is a process of change and growth towards a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle.
