CHARLOTTE – Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that is used to encourage collagen production by taking advantage of the body’s natural healing response. Microneedling may reduce the appearance of acne, scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and large pores.
It is generally safe for healthy people but, it is not for people who use certain acne medications, for those with active acne, or for those with moderate to severe psoriasis or eczema.
You can experience minor redness and irritation for a few days after the procedure. Each session may last 30 minutes to 1 hour and you may need multiple treatments for best results.
This is a great procedure if you want to brighten and firm your skin, with little or no downtime.
