Terry Lee Barbee, 70, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018.

He was born January 4, 1948 in Concord to the late Robert and Mildred Barbee.

Terry retired from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools after 22 years.  He loved spending time reading, cross-stitching, cooking and watching Food Network.  Terry was a loving daddy, grandpa and brother. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include daughter, Bracken (Ronald) Rushing; sisters, Sherry Burleson and Gail Buroff; brother, Roger (Jan) Barbee; grandchildren, Chase and Kearstin Caster; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held 7:00 pm, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:45 pm, prior to the service.
