Robin “Michael” Smith, 56 years of age, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

Mr. Smith was born December 15, 1960 in Cabarrus County to Marvin Cornelius Smith and the late Caroleen Virginia Deal Smith.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Scott Smith.

The memorial service will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Locust officiated by Rev. Larry Beaver.

Survivors include his father, Marvin Cornelius Smith of Locust; his brother, Marvin (Brenda) Smith of Locust; his wife, Melody Noreda Smith of Locust; his daughter, Laura Smith; his step-son, Bobby Manning; step-daughter, Brenda Shaffer; and step-grandson, Kaiden Shaffer.
