Mitchell Lee Lowder, 53, of Marshville, NC passed away Saturday September 29, 2018 at CHS-Northeast in Concord. His funeral service will be Tuesday, October 2 at 4 PM at the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel in Locust with Rev. Brandon Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 4 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Born December 12, 1964 in Stanly County, he was the son of Judy Griffin Watkins of Stanfield and the late William C. Lowder. Lee was a skilled small engine mechanic and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He loved his family and loved being on his motorcycle.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Jane Baucom of Marshville, daughter, Tiffany Lowder of Asheville, AL, brothers, Tony Lowder of Locust and Billy Joe Lowder of Albemarle, sister, Pam Cagle (Pat) of New London and one granddaughter, Kelsey Walthall.
