Judy Furr Turner, 77, of Norwood, NC, passed away Wednesday May 30, 2018 in her home. Her funeral service will be 12 PM Saturday June 2, 2018 at Aquadale Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Aquadale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12 PM prior to the service.

Judy was born August 13, 1940 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late Bessie Barbee Furr and Hubert Lee Furr. She worked at Smiths Grocery for twenty five years.

Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband James Larry Turner and son Larry Brent Turner. Survivors include a son Eric Turner and wife Tina of Calhoun, GA.; sister-in-laws Opaline Furr of Oakboro, NC, and Aubrey Jones of La Grange, NC; three grandchildren Madison Turner and Matthew Turner both of GA and Derek (Kaleigh) Turner of Albemarle, NC; two great-grandchildren Bryn and Aaron Turner.
