Heather Nicole Burkett, 38, of Charlotte passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6PM till 8PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust.

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a precious member of our family, Heather Nicole Burkett. Heather grew up in Cabarrus County and attended Central Cabarrus High School. While furthering her education, she worked at Sonic Drive-In, where she made long lasting friendships. Yoga, cooking, and fitness were her hobbies, leading her to receive her yoga certification. Whether you knew her as Heather or Nicole, you know that she had a warm, sweet, generous soul. She loved animals, family, and friends, going above and beyond if anyone she loved was in need.
