Gladys Turner Rummage, 85 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Union in Monroe.

Mrs. Rummage was born October 17, 1932 in Stanly County to the late Charlie Travis Turner  and the late Bertha Ingold Turner. She was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Alex Willoughby. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery on Jana Road in Albemarle.

Survivors include husband, John F. Rummage; son, Wayne Rummage and wife Nancy; daughter, Jeanette Eatman and husband Barrett all of Albemarle; grandchildren, Brandon Rummage, Eric Rummage and wife Amy, and Jana Eatman; and sister, Lula Mae Turner.

Memorials may be made to Cottonville Baptist Church, 4888 Plank Road, Norwood,  NC 28128.
