Elizabeth “Betty” Snyder, 77, of Norwood, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 in her home.  Her funeral Mass will be held 10 Am Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Annunciation Catholic church with Father Peter Fitzgibbon officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Stanly Gardens of Memory Chapel of Memory Mausoleum.    The family will receive on Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care.

Born November 17, 1940 in Shenandoah, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter Melusky and Violet Yescalis Melusky.  She was a homemaker and a member of Annunciation Catholic Church.  She was very active in the church.  She was a member of the Daughters of Mary, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society and the Mad Hatters.

Mrs. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband Francis “Jack” Snyder.  Survivors include sons John Snyder of Troy, Michael Snyder and wife Karen of Texas, daughter Kim Lisk and husband Mike of Norwood, three sisters Adele Massie of MA, Josephine Pribish of Delaware, and Patty Guers of PA, 5 grandchildren Andre’ Schmieder and wife Ande, Patricik Snyder, Chris Snyder, Victoria Lisk and Brianna Lisk and 2 great-grandchildren Andrew and Adrienne Schmieder .  A sister Marie Dombrosky preceded her in death.
