
David Franklin Honeycutt, 65, of Indian Trail, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 11, 2018.
He was born on October 4, 1952 to the late John and Viola Honeycutt. David worked as a steel fabricator for many years and was a great provider for his family. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, woodworking, and creating things with steel. He was very creative with his craft. His family and many friends will miss him dearly.
David is survived by two sons, Phillip David Honeycutt (Carrie), Matthew Stephen Honeycutt (Ashley); two granddaughters, Paige Honeycutt and Carly Honeycutt; two grandsons, Levi Honeycutt and Peyton McKenzie; brothers, John Honeycutt, Kenneth Honeycutt, and Herbert Foster; sisters, Anne Honeycutt, and Norma McLean.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Tommy and George Honeycutt.
A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland.
Burial will follow the service in the Evergreen Burial Park, Bain School Road in Mint Hill.
