Adelle’ “Addie” Janine Hargest, 4 ½ months old of Albemarle died Thursday morning, May 24, 2018 at home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, May 28, 2018 at West Albemarle Baptist Church. Rev. Adam Hatley will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Norwood. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8 PM Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Born January 11, 2018 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of Michael and Jessica Russell Hargest. She was then transferred to Levine Children’s Hospital NICU for two weeks prior to coming home. Precious Addie was born with Trisomy 13 and a heart defect. She loved for the NICU nurses and her parents to sing and read books to her. Her favorite song in the morning was You Are My Sunshine sung by her mother. Her brother, Thomas would go to her room to check on her when he woke up in the morning and called her “Pretty Girl”. She loved for her Daddy to feed her after he got home from work. She shared her love by blowing kisses to her family. She will be remembered as a special blessing of God. Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I’m fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Jessica Russell Hargest, brother Thomas Hargest, Paternal grandparents Scott & Judy Hargest, Maternal grandparents Kevin & Cindy Russell, Paternal uncle Matthew Hargest, Maternal Aunt & Uncle Jacki & Nick Helms and Maternal cousins Eva Claire and Susanna Helms.
