Stanly Community College (SCC) is pleased to welcome the appointments of three new Board of Trustee (BOT) members.

The Stanly County Board of Commissioners announced that Karmen Mock Phillips and Greg Underwood were selected as the newest members to serve on the SCC board.

Ms. Phillips is a Paralegal Certified by the N.C. State Bar and former SCC Trustee. Mr. Underwood is an Albemarle based CPA and owner of Carolina Oil Company.

Additionally, Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Ms. Nancy Joines. Ms. Joines is an Albemarle resident and retired Associate Dean at Stanly Community College.

All Trustee appointments’ terms began on July 1, 2017 and filled expired BOT terms.
