MINT HILL, NC – Mint Hill is a diverse community that absolutely rocks that small town “feel.” Each day exceptional people with amazing talent are walking, working, and serving this community. This is absolutely the case for Jackie Fallar. Ms. Fallar is a part of this amazing community that we call home, and she is a shining star that takes the stage to share her amazing singing talent with all.
Jackie Fallar is an outstanding musician, wonderful mother, hard-working colleague, and so much more. One of the coolest facts about her and her family is that she is a first-generation American. Her mother was born and raised in the Philippines. The opportunity and experiences that this area has brought to her and her family are truly what the American dream is about. She grew up in the Charlotte area and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School. During her school years, Jackie had the wonderful opportunity to learn, work, and grow from joining the choir. Being a part of the choir at Saint Peter’s Church in Charlotte was an opportunity of a lifetime. When Jackie was participating in the choir, she auditioned for a world-traveling touring choir that took her places that many of us have only dreamed of.
Jackie not only has an amazing talent but has a love for life that is admirable. “The two universal languages for me are music and love,” she says. “I strive to speak them fluently to everyone I meet. Spreading love and music is and always will be the answer.” These words are spoken truly from the heart when Jackie says them. She loves sharing her talent and has worked very hard over the years to establish herself as an acoustic cover duo along with being a part of two bands, Action Jaxxon and Chunky Daddy. Action Jaxxon is a cool cover band that loves covering all types of music – everything from Katy Perry to Metallica. The coolest part of that band is Jackie is the lead vocalist for it all. She truly can rock her love for music in so many ways. Chunky Daddy is a variety band that is a perfect fit for any wedding or event. The variety of music that this lady is able to perform is an amazing sound of its own. She truly has a talent and she loves having the opportunity to share with all.
Jackie not only is an amazing artist that is a part of our truly wonderful community. She is also a part of the serving staff at Dunwellz in Brighton Park. Jackie has been serving the Town of Mint Hill for many years, from her first job at Forty Rod to her current position at Dunwellz. While serving over the years, she has had many opportunities to network with the community and create bonds. While working, Jackie met her current boyfriend. He was her biggest fan and never stopped encouraging her to start a band and live her dream. This inspiration and support along with more from others are what encouraged Jackie to forward her career. ”The years I’ve spent working in Mint Hill have been some of the most rewarding and amazing years of my life,” says Jackie. “I have met lifelong friends and built so many relationships. This town has helped build who I am as a person and musician and I will forever be grateful for it.”
