The Alpha Psi Upsilon chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Stanly Community College (SCC) is kicking off their 25th anniversary of the chapter’s charter with community service. PTK is the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College and encourages community service from all of its members.

PTK officers met at West Main location to conclude their spring community service project by establishing a lending library. Thanks to Stanly News and Press, as well as SCC’s Automotive, Welding, and Duplicating Services for donation of services, materials and time.

The lending library contains donated books for all ages. Books can be borrowed or donated. The honor society members hope this resource will provide easily accessible reading materials for the community.
