Homeschool students’ artwork on display at Locust Library

If you haven’t been to the Locust Library lately, drop by to check out a book and enjoy the student artwork on display as well. The library showcases student artwork from local schools on a rotating basis throughout the year. The current artwork on display was created by homeschool students. All of the student artists participate in art classes at the L.I.F.T. T.E.A.M. Co-op in Albemarle.

Featured kindergarten through second grade student artists are: Tristan Boysworth, Karter Burleson, Lainey Cardwell, Owen Cardwell, Emberlee Eudy, Aiden Krehel, Phoebe Lloyd, Hayden Lynch, Asher Morton and Amanda Smith. The kindergarten through second grade art teacher is Krystal Lipe.



Featured third through sixth grade student artists are: Allyson Eudy, Peyton “Bucky” Hartis, Jackson Krehel, Levi Lloyd, Eden Morton, Zuri Ray, Julia Rogers, Basie Sambira, Landon Sambira, Langston Sambira, Dylan Teckenbrock and Cadence Thompson. The third through sixth grade art teacher is Jennifer Smith.

The Locust Library invites the community to come by to see the unique pieces on display. The current artwork will be on exhibit through May.
