CHARLOTTE – “Dips” Dasgupta fell in love with Union County. He and his family found a new home and welcoming community. They wanted to reciprocate the positive impact the Waxhaw area had on them. Creating DSSR Solutions to help support local businesses and their owners was a natural answer for them.

DSSR Solutions is a credit card processing company for small businesses. Dasgupta is an independent broker who works with multiple banks to provide a better rate for clients who use credit cards in their customer transactions. “It’s all about creating a unique, no-contract account for each client. My desire is to help the client access and keep more of his or her own daily profits,” Dasgupta declares.



Dasgupta says his company solves common problems small business owners encounter with their processing needs. “Our accounts are month-to-month. They keep costs low, never include hidden fees, and offer same-day funding without charging a dime,” Dasgupta explains.  “Once a retail store owner completes his transactions and sends them to the processor, he will get all his profits by midnight that same day,” Dasgupta continues. “It doesn’t matter the amount of money. $5, $50, $5000 – the rates are always the same.”

From simple terminals that accept payments to POS systems that manage receipts, create menus, and pay employees, DSSR Solutions can help you find the right system and maintain that system. “My IT background always involved providing solutions as a data architect,” Dasgupta shares.  “That’s what my real passion is. I love to help people solve their problems in an efficient way.”

For Dasgupta, the people he meets and works with are the real reason he started this company. “I don’t ever want a client to feel like they are just a transaction. I want to come alongside them as a partner. I see myself as an extension of their business,” Dasgupta asserts. “I am the person responsible to see that issues are resolved in good time and in an efficient way. Business owners have a hundred things to do each day. I don’t want any of them wasting their time on things that I can do for them to help them out,” Dasgupta adds with a smile.

Dasgupta says his business has been steadily growing, and he hopes it continues to climb. “I see my growing business as a testimony to all the people I have helped,” he says. “It’s never about the money I earn. It’s about the people of Waxhaw and Union County and the one-on-one connections I create with them. Those things are what truly have value in this world.”
