Best books to read if you want to succeed on social media

The internet gives us an abundance of information, so much that usually it’s overwhelming. If you have enough time to read through enough blog posts and sit through enough YouTube videos, you can learn just about anything.

However, most of us don’t have that kind of time.

Books are still the best way to get information on one subject that can be trusted. Here are my recommendations for books to read if you want to succeed on social media:

“Start With Why” by Simon Sinek

I can’t say enough good things about this book and Simon Sinek’s work. He has one of the most watched Ted Talks ever on the subject of this book and for good reason, it’s great stuff. If you only read one book from this list, make it this one.

“On Writing Well” by William Zinsser

“Content Inc.” by Joe Pulizzi

“Hug Your Haters” by Jay Baer

Almost any book by Seth Godin, but especially, “Purple Cow”

Any book by Gary Vaynerchuk but especially “Crush It!”, “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook” and “Thank you Economy”

Gary Vee (as he is usually referred to) is a giant in the marketing and social media world, any of his books are useful to anyone using social media for marketing.
