Where In the World is Phil- Jamaica, Part 4

The next few days were a blur. We enjoyed coffee every day on our veranda, with the fresh smells of garden plants and a whiff of the sea breeze. There was a small Jacuzzi / Pool just 30 feet from our building, and we learned to enjoy quiet dips at night where we were the only people in our world. Not being big beach people, Barbara and I enjoyed many different resort pools, but always returned to our favorite pool, just 100 yards from our building, and overlooking the sand and sea. We enjoyed a HobeCat time, a glass-bottom boat trip, and a speedboat ride, all complimentary. Most of all we enjoyed each other time, where the only interruption was our wait staff responding at the crook of a finger to our every need or favorite drink. We enjoyed a special dinner at Kelly’s Dockside where we actually were out on the ocean with only a wooden rail between us and the sea. We enjoyed our Lobster served by wait staff in white gloves, along with the best Moldavi wines, and a “digestive” of limoncello. Another favorite dinner was at Valentino’s. I enjoyed a superb Lasagna and Barbara enjoyed the best“Veal Valentino” she could imagine. All of this was complemented by nonstop luxury wine, always served with a smile and a Thank You.

Breakfast was served in 4 different locations daily. We chose the Terrace for the views. Breakfast was sumptuous and the view was amazing.

We chose a different location every day for lunch, always casual, and always near our activity of the moment. Perhaps my favorite was the “Jerk Shack” hillside, near the main pool.

Please come back next week for Where in the World is Phil- Jamaica, Part 5
