For five days at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center on Hwy 49 N in Concord, N. C.

Up to 1,000 dogs of over 100 different breeds will strut their stuff. The Greater Monroe K. C. and The Columbia, S. C. K. C. will hold their biannual dog shows.

Tall dogs, tiny dogs and all in between will be jumping, posing and doing tricks for their Handlers. Just like on T.V., there will be conformation judging and several performance events each day.

Show hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or whenever Best in Show judging is over. These are huge shows with owners and handlers from all over the US attending.

You can see breeds you never imagined and animals performing acts you won’t think possible.  The public is invited but, please don’t bring your own dog.

Gwyn Mathis
Gwyn Mathis and her husband Terry moved to beautiful Stanly Co. 43 years ago to have a place
To breed and train their show dogs. Gwyn soon opened a grooming shop and boarding kennel.
She expanded to a new kennel building in the mid 1990's. Owners bring their dogs from as
far away as Raleigh to have them groomed and cared for at Tag'm Kennel.
The Mathises are members of Piedmont Kennel Club, The American Miniature Schnauzer
Club and are AKC Breeders of Merit. Can you guess how they got the name Tag'm ?
