As any of you that have seen my great looking car wrap around Mint Hill, I am passionate about Sandals. This next resort review will be Sandals Ocho Rios Jamaica or “OCHI”

This resort is located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Airlift is to Montego Bay (MBJ) Airport. At the airport, Sandals Guests are met and greeted by Sandals staff. Luggage is turned over to Sandals staff and taken to the resort for you. For many Sandals Guests, you will see the luggage again in your suite. You can even pre-arrange to have your butler unpack, press, hang, and lay out your clothes for you, if you have booked a Butler Suite. Meanwhile, guests are guided to a lounge in the airport, where they can relax and enjoy liquid refreshments and snacks until Sandals Transportation is ready for them. What a great way to start a vacation, honeymoon, or wedding-moon.

The trip to Ochi is about 1 hour on a modern highway. Your Sandals driver will stop once en route in case you need to use facilities. The scenery en route is an example of the lush Jamaica countryside.

Ochi is different than most all inclusive luxury resorts and even different than most Sandals Resorts. Barbara and I have been to Ochi seven times, and every time is a new and more exciting experience.

This is one of Sandals largest resorts, spread out over a sandy beach, tropical forest, and hillside. There are 105 pools on the resort. The resort is spread over 100 acres, allowing for a ton of exploring, should you be inclined. There are 16 restaurants, almost all of which are a LaCarte (from a menu) dining, as opposed to the buffets at most resorts.
