Massage in 2021

CHARLOTTE – I can’t say it enough. You can, with some planning, put massage in your life as a regular contributor to a healthier you. Massage can be done weekly, biweekly, monthly – massage can be done in increments that will benefit you.

In my business, I see people who need immediate help. Perhaps you have an acute injury that needs attending to. Or maybe you have an old injury that you’ve ignored and needs to be addressed. Chances are, we can work with you on your injury/pain management and get you in a position to not need us except for upkeep. Seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist that will work with your challenges is your first step. An LMT that will come up with a plan that is conducive to your budget, your availability, and your goals is definitely recommended.

Some of my clients see a couple of times a month. They are generally healthy and use massage as a way to decompress and perhaps alleviate anxiety. Some clients even use massage as a way to combat depression. They schedule massages when they feel their symptoms coming on. Or they preschedule just to get ahead of any issues BEFORE they get out of hand. This is being proactive, instead of reactive. Being proactive can change your life! (But that’s a future column).

Whatever your needs, find an LMT you can trust, be transparent, and allow your LMT to help you reach your goal of becoming mentally and physically healthier in 2021. Happy New Year.
