CHARLOTTE – International Travel to most countries, except the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, is still curtailed, usually due to entry restrictions by that country. I get informative emails every day from our suppliers, documenting the status of entry into each country. Just shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will send you reference materials for that destination free of charge.
Entry requirements are different for each country you can travel to, and they change almost daily. Please consult a Travel Consultant before you book. On one trip Barbara and I made to Barbados, 60% of travelers who tried to board our flight from Miami to Barbados, WERE REJECTED at the gate because they did not have the required documentation. I can imagine how hard these folks worked to purchase tickets, make reservations, and take time off work, only to lose everything at the last minute. Some new requirements may be;
A/ Negative Covid 19 test results on a verifiable format, taken within a specified number of days prior to arrival at the airport of departure. Some countries require the test with 72 hours of departure to that country, while many give you as long as 10 days. This is the number 1 reason for boarding denial. Also, most countries will NOT accept the “Rapid” test. “Know before you Go”.
