CHARLOTTE – E/ Europe, for the most part, is still closed to tourists from the USA, and actually many countries do not allow any tourism at all right now. Again, this is very complicated. Always talk to a Travel Advisor, then make your own, informed, decision. No Travel Advisor will ever tell you that you will be safe if you travel at a certain time, or to a certain destination. We can only advise you what the current situation is, and what the history has been.

F/ Cruising is another situation that is still very much in a state of recovery. Some sailings have occurred between European and Asian areas. Asia has been a leader in the recovery, with almost 99.9% of today cruising destinations. The CDC here in the USA, HAS SET CERTAIN CONDITIONS Cruise Lines to have to meet before they can resume cruising from US Ports once again. Meeting all of those conditions, the CDC has agreed to let Cruise Lines depart from US Ports with passengers. As of today, Nov. 29, 2020, it appears the first cruises may depart from US Ports sometime in February. Cruise Companies have started bringing employees back into Port of Miami, just in the last 2 weeks. These cruise lines are training employees in new procedures, providing emergency repatriation procedures for each employee, and reviewing new procedures for embarking and disembarking. Following are changes certain to be implemented. These may change as Cruise Lines begin “Shakedown Cruises” to measure the success of the implementation of changes.
