On the wedding day, everything just seemed to fall into place. What had been seemingly insurmountable problems became hiccups, the day was cloudy but the Chapel was perfect. The ceremony went on, albeit just a little south of perfect, but with no real problems.
Everyone got back to the reception on time. The resort was generous to move the reception inside to a wonderful Wine Bar, the DJ was amazing with music, old and new friends mingled, danced and celebrated.
The Bride and Groom received a Honeymoon breakfast in bed, Romantic Dinner on the beach, and 7 days with best friends and family.
56 wonderful guests were treated to gourmet meals, top shelf drinks, about the very best beach close to Maroma, shopping trips, and a Catamaran Cruise for all who were interested. Some folks even got room upgrades from the three room suites everyone had as standard.
Not everything was perfect, of course. There were missed transportation issues, but everyone got to and from. There were some charges that had to be addressed by Phil. There was a room change due to unforeseen weather and availability issues, that was to be addressed by the resort concierge with Phil. There are still outstanding credit card charges that Phil is addressing. With 56 people, there were 9 issues addressed, or being addressed by Phil. That is really an outstanding performance, in hindsight. Of course, no issue is unimportant, and every issue is being discussed or compensated. Dealing with high quality providers will lead to satisfactory resolution.
More important are the great memories and the forthcoming Video from Group Travel Videos, right here in Mint Hill. Congratulations to the Bride and Groom. Our best wishes for a long and loving relationship.
