CHARLOTTE – Disney Cruise Line
Now let’s have some real family fun. Disney operates Ocean vessels that bring the fantasy of Disney World or Disney Land to life in the open seas. A Disney cruise is incomparable, and I do not say that lightly. Kids can meet Disney Characters all over the ship, without the overwhelming crowds and hot pavement Disney World is infamous for. No long “Ques” for rides that are sometimes less than thrilling. There are water slides, a water park, an adult quiet area, game rooms, and a “Wonder” of things to do. Disney, famous for “Animation”, brings dining to life with wall murals that change during dinner, Characters that move about the dining room to famous Disney Music, and food that is as American as any you could think of. For parents who may want to just get some “quiet time” or “private dining”, Disney has an Ocean Club of child care. Once your child, or grandchild, meets other friends there, you may be hard-pressed to convince them to join you at dinner. Even excursions are unique to Disney and different than most other Cruise Lines in the Caribbean. Of course, Disney offers packages splitting cruising with time at Disney World. You can purchase a package with 3 nights cruising and 4 nights in Disney World, or reverse the number of nights. These vacations leave from Port Canaveral Florida for the Cruises, then a short 1-hour ride, in a Disney Bus of course, to your room at Disney World. These packages are often presented at a decreased price line to encourage clients to purchase the packages. Disney operates above mainline pricing, in line with pricing at Disney Parks. “It’s a small world after all”!
