Novant Health expands cancer services in Huntersville

Breast surgical oncologist joins growing team of cancer specialists

Novant Health has expanded women’s health and breast cancer surgical programs with the addition of breast surgical oncologist, Dr. Lori Gentile. Gentile specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and uses the most up-to-date techniques to perform all aspects of breast cancer surgery, including breast conservation (lumpectomy), mastectomy, nipple-sparing mastectomy, and axillary lymph node procedures.

Gentile joins Novant Health Carolina Surgical and sees patients at both the new Huntersville and the Charlotte locations. She is an integral part of the Novant Health Cancer Care team, and is on the medical staff at both Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center and Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

“We are proud to welcome Dr. Gentile to our growing team of cancer experts,” said Dr. Steven Limentani, senior vice president of cancer services for Novant Health. “Her significant training and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease will continue to elevate the exceptional care we provide our patients.”
