Get To Know The Owner

I come from humble beginnings. I was raised by a single mom. We moved every year when the lease was up. I remember going to Goodwill and resale shops and being thrilled to have new clothes. We used to walk to the grocery store once a week. I thought it was fun, I didn’t realize it was because we didn’t have enough money for gas. My mom was as amazing creative cook, I never once thought it was because she had very little to work with.

Today I am a mother of 2. My kids don’t go without but they know what it means to earn. They’ve never known a single parent household. They have only ever moved once and that was across the country. We go for walks because it’s nice out. We go out to eat and always have an array of food for them to choose from, so they have never known hunger.

I don’t share this to gain sympathy but to express we don’t know where people come from. I’m still the same person my mom raised and I still love resale shops. I always knew that I could be whatever I wanted to be. Despite our challenges my mother never made me feel lesser than. Today I own 2 companies, one of which is franchising nationwide.

Finding a way to tap into your personal potential is not something someone can do for you but rather something you have to do for yourself. Getting out of your own way is the hardest challenge you will ever face whether that relates to work, personal life, personal growth or health. Owning who you are and making no apologies is the second hardest challenge.

My passion revolves around what I like to call the trifecta effect. The trifecta effect to me is total health: physical, mental and financial. Yes, financial health. These are the 3 things we need to survive: physical health to be alive, mental health to maintain balance so we can cope with life challenges and financial health so we can live and thrive. We often forget about the financial piece. Coming from nothing I understand the importance of having a healthy relationship with money to ensure continued total health.

Today I take pride in my Strategic Money Solutions business which helps guide people through how money works to cancel interest and create wealth. I believe in the power of creating a positive relationship with money so we offer a free analysis because knowledge is the beginning to understanding. I’m also the proud owner of Get Me Some Green an Apothecary promoting natural health through education and quality products. Both companies are female owned and run.

Even a village needs someone to step out of the box. Someone needs to forget the rest and own oneself to set a path for not only themselves but to perhaps to motivate others to create their own path. So today I challenge you to give yourself permission to get out of your own way.
