The 2018 Veterans Day Parade will be held in Oakboro at 11 a.m.

Tuesday, November 13

Children can strengthen reading skills by reading aloud to a therapy dog during the Read to the Dogs program at the Locust Library. Registration is required. Time slots are available from 4-5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, November 14

Children’s Story Time will be held at 10 a.m. at the Albemarle Main Library.

Every Wednesday at 11 a.m. children can learn about history through games, stories, crafts and activities during the History Hunters program at the Stanly County History Center.
