Friday, November 2

Preschool Story Time will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Oakboro Library.

The Stanly County History Center will offer a free STEM program at 10 a.m. for K-5th grade students. Registration is required. Call 704-986-3777 to register.

EpicFest will be held at ImaginOn in Charlotte from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. EpicFest is a free literary festival that connects families with authors, illustrators and books. The Family Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring appearances by award-winning authors and illustrators, group art, early learning stations, gaming, family snacks, music mixing with a DJ, book giveaways, signings and a musical performance by Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band. Children’s Story Time will be held at 10 a.m. at the Albemarle Main Library.

Every Wednesday at 11 a.m. children can learn about history through games, stories, crafts and activities during the History Hunters program at the Stanly County History Center. Thursday, November 8

Bouncing Babies Story Time will be held at 11 a.m. at the Albemarle Main Library. The 20 minute program features stories, songs and rhymes for babies birth through 24 months.
