CHARLOTTE – South Charlotte Dog Rescue presents Ranger for your consideration. This goofy, 9-month-old, German Shepherd will turn 1 year old in March. He weighs around 70 pounds and is pure love and silliness. Ranger is house-trained and insanely smart, he is currently honing his skills and living the foster dream with one of the best dog trainers around.
As with most of the dogs that we take in, Ranger ended up in rescue through no fault of his own… his family purchased 2 German Shepherd puppies from a breeder and hadn’t considered what a handful that would be, unfortunately, he ended up dumped at a shelter and we could not let that be where his story ended. Ranger has been being trained and spoiled with his foster family for over a month now and is ready to settle down with his forever family. He would love to have a fenced-in yard to burn off some of that teenage-boy energy. He is great with other dogs and a fur sibling to keep him company would be his dream. He loves kids, but due to his size and breed, would probably do best with older kids.
