MINT HILL, NC – Cannabinoids are compounds found in cannabis plants, an umbrella term that refers to both hemp and marijuana. CBD and THC are just two of the many cannabinoids present in cannabis. CBD is usually procured from the hemp plant, which contains less than 0.3% delta-9 THC. Delta-9 THC, commonly just referred to as THC, is derived from marijuana. CBD does not induce a “high”, whereas THC produces a psychoactive effect.
