MINT HILL, NC – Let’s face it, the older we get the more things that sneak up on us. One day you can do this, the next day you can’t and you are wondering what is next?

Along with everyday issues, tasks, children as well as work we all at one time or another feel like we have insomnia..so you may ask what is Insomnia and what can I do to help with it.



Insomnia is a very common sleep disorder, so much so that almost 9 million people in the UK experience sporadic or constant difficulties in sleeping well. According to medical definitions, it is necessary to have two or more of these symptoms:

  • difficulty in falling asleep
  • morning fatigue
  • constant sleepiness
  • lack of concentration
  • frequent nocturnal awakenings

The causes can be different: anxiety, stress, stimulants such as caffeine or a diet that overloads the digestive system. Several drugs are available on the market to effectively treat insomnia, although it is better to turn to a natural and side-effect-free solution such as CBD.
