Week of the arts at Central It was a wonderful opportunity for theater, visual arts and music to make their presence known during the holiday season. Hundreds of parents, students and friends visited Central Cabarrus High School during the week long project to see everything students could offer. Canned goods were collected for the Crisis Assistance Ministry during the band concert that featured Christmas favorites. Visual art students demonstrated and displayed their paintings, earrings and pottery during the week-long event. Most of the items were for sale at the school. A radio-play of A Wonderful Life had to be postponed because of bad weather but was presented on December 21 and will be presented again on December 22 at 6:30 pm featuring live sound effects, singing and dessert.
